How you can give Bernaly a hand.

We are a small team building a Swiss-first product. The community is the platform, and here is how you can be part of it.

Translate

Help Bernaly speak your language.

We are looking for Romansh speakers, and for proofreaders of our German, French and Italian. Every translator is credited, and the work stays small and bounded. A few hours, not a research project.

Teach

Become a Bernaly tutor.

If you grew up with Swiss German, Swiss French, Swiss Italian or Romansh, you can teach on Bernaly. You set your own rate and build your own reputation.

Tell someone Swiss about us.

Word of mouth is how a platform like this grows. Forward Bernaly to a Swiss friend, a language teacher, an integration office, a cultural foundation. We would take a referral over a paid ad any day.

Quick answers to common questions.

How quickly do you reply?
Most messages are answered on the same working day. Safety reports are the first thing we look at. If something takes longer, we say so.
Is Bernaly free?
The translator is free, no account needed. Browsing the marketplace is free. A lesson costs what the tutor sets; you pay by card when you book, and Bernaly keeps a 10% commission. Every tutor who offers trials gives a free 15-minute lesson.
I speak Swiss French, Swiss Italian or Romansh. Can I teach?
Yes. Bernaly covers all four Swiss national languages. Apply through the form and pick your language there.
Do you have a press kit?
Yes. Write to press@bernaly.ch and we send logo files, screenshots, a short biography and the approved boilerplate. Interviews in German, French, Italian or English.
Can I contribute translator rules without teaching?
Yes. Use the suggestion button in the translator, no account needed. One suggestion per browser while the queue is read by hand. Signed in, an approved rule carries your name.
How do I report a problem with another user?
Write to hello@bernaly.ch with the display name and what happened. Safety reports are the first thing we look at.
