Darren Odibo founded Bernaly in 2025 to fix a problem he kept running into himself: language schools teach you textbook Hochdeutsch, but Switzerland actually speaks something very different at the lunch table.

He’s building Bernaly into a marketplace that treats Swiss dialects — and Romansh in particular — as living languages worth investing in, not regional curiosities.

Darren is based in Switzerland and is the only full-time member of the Bernaly team. He’s available for interviews in English.
