How quickly do you reply?

Most messages are answered within a working day, usually within 4 hours during Swiss business hours. Press inquiries get same-day responses. We're honest if something will take longer.

Is Bernaly free?

The translator is free up to three saves per day. The marketplace is free to browse; you pay your tutor directly per session (rates set by the tutor, typically CHF 50–80/hr). Bernaly takes a 10% commission once online payments launch.

I'm a Swiss-French / Italian / Romansh speaker — can I teach?

Yes. Bernaly serves all four Swiss national languages, not just Swiss German. Apply via /become-a-tutor and select your language during onboarding.

Do you have a press kit?

Yes — email press@bernaly.com and we'll send a media kit with logo files, screenshots, founder bio and approved boilerplate. We're happy to schedule interviews in DE / FR / IT / EN.

Can I contribute translator rules without teaching?

Absolutely. Sign up for a free account and use the “Suggest a rule” button on /translator. Every approved rule is credited to its author in our rule history.

How do I report a problem with another user?

Email hello@bernaly.com with the user's display name and what happened. We take safety reports seriously and respond within 24 hours; serious cases (harassment, fraud) within 2 hours.
