Do I need a teaching qualification?
No formal qualification required. You need to be a native or near-native speaker of the dialect you want to teach, and comfortable working one-on-one with adult learners. We verify both during the application.
How much does Bernaly take?
10% of each completed session, with no hidden fees, no listing charges, no monthly subscription. We invest the 10% into platform, marketing, support and the heritage mission.
When and how do I get paid?
Weekly payouts to your Swiss bank account, every Monday for the previous week's completed sessions. The MVP uses manual bank transfer (you'll add your IBAN during onboarding); we're integrating Stripe Connect for instant payouts soon.
How much time do I need to commit?
Up to you. Some tutors do 2 sessions a week as a side income, others do 20+ as a primary job. Set your availability honestly — students value reliability more than volume.
Can I teach more than one dialect?
Yes, if you're genuinely fluent in multiple. During application you'll declare each dialect with your fluency level, and we verify each separately.
